Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Nationality: Non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport.
- Educational Background:
- Undergraduate: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Master’s: Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Doctoral: Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
- Portfolio Requirement: Submit a portfolio showcasing artistic works relevant to the program.
- Language Proficiency:
- Chinese-Taught Programs:
- HSK Level 4 or above (Level 5 or 6 preferred for advanced programs).
- Applicants without the required Chinese proficiency can enroll in a preparatory Chinese language course at BFA before starting their degree program.
- English-Taught Programs:
- TOEFL (≥80) or IELTS (≥6.0), unless prior education was conducted in English.
